Rock Climbing at Camp Hunua

Rock climbing at Camp Hunua!

When I was at camp we did rock climbing at the field.At  first  I tried the blue one.When I was climbing the wall Hannah the adult helper said that I was really fast so I felt really proud of myself.After finishing the blue wall I tried to climb a green wall and try to  touch a bar.After that I lined up and saw a tiny little drop landing on the mud.when I was at the line waiting the rock climbing teacher said “You can challenge yourself by touching one colour.So I challenged myself to climb the blue wall only touching the yellow rocks.I was climbing with all my efforts but at last the yellow rock was too high so I couldn’t reach it but I still didn’t give up.I stretched my arms right to the yellow rock and I touched it! yeah!Then I told Hannah the adult helper that I want to get down.I got my  off and lined up  then it started to rain again When it was my turn the rock climbing teacher said “Good job everyone I really enjoyed seeing you guys putting lots of efforts.Then he said to follow him.We walk down the hill and I got my harness off.I felt very very sad because I knew it was time to say goodbye to the rock climbing wall and the teacher.After the big climbing time I learnt to never give up.
